Android Client Setup Guide

This guide will help you install and configure Hiddify Next on your Android device. We’ll cover both Google Play Store and APK installation methods.

📋 System Requirements

  • Android Version: Android 7.0 (API 24) or higher
  • RAM: At least 2GB
  • Storage: At least 50MB available space
  • Permissions: Network access, VPN permissions

🔽 Installation Methods

  1. Open Google Play Store on your device
  2. Search for “Hiddify Next”
  3. Tap “Install” to download and install
  4. Wait for installation to complete

Method 2: APK Installation

  1. Visit our Download Center on your device
  2. Download the Android APK file
  3. Enable “Install from Unknown Sources” in Settings
  4. Tap the downloaded APK file to install

⚙️ Initial Setup

First Launch

  1. Open Hiddify Next from your app drawer
  2. Grant necessary permissions when prompted
  3. The app will show the main interface

Adding Servers

  1. Tap the "+" button
  2. Select “Add Subscription”
  3. Paste your subscription URL
  4. Tap “Add”

Manual Configuration

  1. Tap "+" → “Add Server”
  2. Choose protocol type
  3. Enter server details
  4. Tap “Save”

🚀 Connecting

  1. Select a server from the list
  2. Tap the “Connect” button
  3. Grant VPN permission when prompted
  4. Wait for connection to establish

🔧 Settings and Optimization

Proxy Modes

  • Global: Route all traffic through proxy
  • Rule-based: Use intelligent routing rules
  • Direct: Bypass proxy for all traffic

Battery Optimization

  1. Go to device Settings → Battery
  2. Find Hiddify Next in app list
  3. Disable battery optimization
  4. This prevents Android from killing the VPN connection

❓ Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

  • Verify server information is correct
  • Try different servers
  • Check network connectivity

App Crashes

  • Restart the app
  • Clear app cache in Settings
  • Reinstall if problems persist

Battery Drain

  • Enable battery optimization exceptions
  • Use rule-based mode instead of global
  • Close unnecessary background apps
