  1. Check the node list on the home page
  2. Tap the “Latency Test” icon (lightning bolt) to check connectivity
  3. Select a node with low latency (green number)
  4. Tap the large round “Connect” button in the center
  5. Accept the “Connection Request” prompt if it appears

Success

Connected! A VPN key icon appears in the status bar, and the main interface shows “Connected”. You can now visit Google to test connectivity.

Advanced Configuration

App Routing (Split Tunneling)

Specify which apps go through proxy or direct, saving data and improving speed for local apps.

  1. Go to Settings > Routing Rules
  2. Ensure mode is set to Rule Mode
  3. Tap Split Tunneling or App Mode
  4. Check apps that need proxy (or exclude local apps)
Battery & Background Optimization

Prevent system from killing background process causing disconnection.

  • Allow Auto-start: Allow Hiddify to auto-start in system settings
  • Battery Optimization: Settings > Battery > Optimization > Find Hiddify > Select Don't Optimize
  • Background Data: Ensure background data usage is allowed
DNS Settings

Optimize domain resolution speed and prevent pollution.

  • Remote DNS: Recommended 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1
  • Local DNS: Recommended 223.5.5.5 or ISP default

FAQ

No internet after connecting?
Please try the following: 1. Tap lightning icon to test real node latency. 2. Check if phone time is accurate (must sync with network time). 3. Toggle Airplane mode on/off to refresh network.
High battery drain?
VPN protocols require encryption/decryption which consumes some power; this is normal. Consider enabling "Connect on Demand" or disconnecting when not in use.
Some apps not using proxy?
Check if "App Routing" is enabled and the app is excluded. Or the app might detect proxy environment; try enabling "Global Mode" to test.
